Lancia Lybra IDIS V5.25

Does anyone have an update for a Lancia IDIS V5.25 system to make it compatible to the newer opel NCDR maps. I understand that the later cd s after 2005 of lancia lybra had a firmware update on it. Am I right?

Every version includes a software update
The NCDR maps should run flawlessly without any further modification

Should I burn the data of the original cd with the newer opel NCDR maps (DB map), or should I just burn the entire opel cd? I tried the first thing but it did not work. I used Clonecd at 2x speed.

You just burn an Opel CD with CloneCD and insert it into the Lybra navi
It should work form the start

I did exactly what you said. But the ICS system keeps initialising the CD. Earlier attempts resulted in a error. So the solution must be near. I have read on a lancia forum that the system first needs a 2005 (or so) update to make it able to read the opel cd's. Does this ring a bell? Or am I wrong and is the Cd not burned correctly?

The maps on both systems are not identical, this system is identical with Porsche PCM1 16bit.
Both cd's have a map "IDIS".
If I have more info about the system-update, I'll write it here.

The Porsche PCM1 16 bit systems also work flawlessly with the NCDx map cd's although these Porsche cd's have the IDIS folder which seemigly has no significance

You are right, you can only update with an original cd, also version v5.35 is not compatible with NCDR.
I have tested on a Lybra with v5.35.

I want to ask if there is a maps for Lancia Lybra 2001? I'm not sure what system is ( G1, G2 or G3), but is there a way to software upgrade and use new maps from NavTeq?
I'm looking for maps for Eastern Europe ( Bulgaria, Greece and so on), and Germany, Austria....
