Multilenguage Alpine Smart Map Pro Maps.

    2005 version:
    ed2k://|file|Smart.Map.Pro.nvd-z002.Alpine.for.nve-n099p.2005.disc.iso|6788315136|A05002CF420792FF24F 32BB37B4FC317|/
This ISO works fine being recorded at low speed in a DVD double layer -R type.

    2009 version:
    ed2k://|file|Smart.Map.Pro.nvd-z005.Alpine.for.nve-n099p.2009.WEST.disc.iso|7435440128|2A2792F29579F1 65B17C4731E9F5E1C3|/

ISOs taken using al CloneCD as DVDDecrypter (same result). No known way to make them work at the car. Please check

Alpine Navi NVE-N099P, how to hard-reset or downgrade ?

    Hello,

I tried to copy the navi dvd to have the "latest" maps on a NVE-N099P.
Unfortunatelly, the software update, but the maps are unreadable !
I tried with DVD+R DL from 3 manufacturer. I still need to check with DVD-R DL.

Does anyone succesfully copy the DVD ?
Does anyone downgrade the NVE-N099P ?
    Does anyone hard-reset the NVE-N099P ?

    Thanks for your further answer.

    Best Regards
    Kan-G

Primary Navigation System: Alpine NVE-M300P (400x234) on WinCE5.0 build 1400 connected to Alpine ICS-X8
Current Project : adapt iGO Primo 9.6.13.267029 on NVE-M300P (400x240)

    See my post above

I am confident the PTP/OTP issue is applicable here which means a recorde DVD will never work, only a pressed one.

If you want to downgrade, pull the fuse for 15 minutes and insert the old DVD
If that does not help, try change the language and as soon as the screen geos black, eject the current dvd and insert the old one
