or install only APK file as usual and it is ready

On the HTC flyer, is there any way of directing the maps download to go to the external sd instead? Is it possible to install navigon n america on the same device?

You should create folder Navigon and two folders inside: data and map. After that, install Navigon app. To be precise - if you create Navigon folder on external sd card then maps will be downloaded to external sd card. If you create Navigon folder in internal memory, maps and data will be downloaded to internal memory.

I didn't realise i had to create the folders before installation. Right now there's a big navigon folder under mnt/sdcard, but the external sd is under mnt/sdcard/ex_sd. Now that it has downloaded maps already, am I able to just cut the navigon folder across?

I created the folders on SD card on a computer, copied the files and inserted SD card back to mobile and installed it from there. In thsi way its lot easier to handle the whole process - working fine.

I have installed it on Samsung Galaxy S plus (not rooted mobile), with no problem - working great. Thanks Guys.

You can't change "Navigon" folder location after installation. You MUST create "Navigon" folder BEFORE installation - on memory where you wish to store Navigon data (maps, POIs etc...).

SD/Navigon/data
SD/Navigon/map
Run instal with WiFi ON

Installaed 4.1.2 but sounds don't work. Galaxy W, Android 2.3.6
How can I resolve this problem ?
