    Re: iGO Primo Android - Original JM Release

    could anyone tell me how to run the app in fullscreen? i have an htc hd2 with ics, and the sys.txt has this
    [rawdisplay]
    screen_xy="auto"
    driver=engine

    configuration, and its the only one that works. i tried using 800_480:800x480/480x800:fullscreen and 800_480:800x442/480x762:fullscreen but nothing works except auto, thus i cant get it to go fullscreen. i have the navigation bar from android at the bottom, and it overlays on igo, i cant see the speed and everything thats at the bottom. can someone help? thanks in advance

    Refer to this post for all resolutions. Those files really work.

    Did exactly (per instructions): in sys.txt added the 2 lines:

    [rawdisplay]
    screen_xy="800_480:1280x720/720x1280:fullscreen,800x480/480x800:fullscreen"
    driver=engine

    A message appears: "User Interface does not support resolution 720X1280 or missing skin ..."
    repeatedly. Had no choice but to reboot the device to gain back control.

    Any ideas ?

    I apologize if I gave a wrong information and caused a frustration to some of you about forcing resolution in SYS.TXT in my previous post, but this is what I've read on other forums so I just wanted to share the same here. I also extracted the data.zip from the package and it indeed has only 800x480 resolution, hence it works on devices with such resolution (such as Galaxy S II). I remember though that on old WinCE devices you could still force iGO to run on higher resolution devices, and scale the image, but I am not sure how to do it on android device...

    ps: it must be copied to the internal SD (phone) in order to work, if it is copied to external SD it will not work and hangs while in the intial settings

    I think you can still copy it to the external card but you need to correct the "linked_root_list" entry in your SYS.TXT to match your device's external SD Card path.
    Again, you can modify the SYS.TXT directly on your device by browsing to /data/data/com.navngo.igo.javaclient (you must be rooted to accomplish this) or within the APK and reinstall the application. If you modify the APK, it must be resigned (using apktool).

    Code:
    [folders]
    linked_root_list="/mnt/sdcard/iGO"

    Primo Android thin_v0.5 (THX to luboz)

    -sys.txt "moved" to sdcard
    -sys.txt created on sdcard (/sdcard/iGO/) only if doesn't exist
    -save folder "moved" to sdcard

    Doesn't work on Samsung Galaxy Advance. It hungs up when asked to 'Accept' EULA. It waits for a few seconds and then returns to Main Android Menu.
    Any ideas. I've also tried the 'IGO Primo 2.0 ANDROID Final Edition 2012'. Exatly the same behaviour !!!

    Re: iGO Primo Android - Original JM Release

    For resolution 1280x720

    sys.txt modification works very well with the thin_v0.5. Look to the Post#26.

    Multimode.ini you will find in data.zip/ui_android/multimode.ini:

    Multimode.ini
    m3=1024..1280,552..800,"800_480"
    m4=600..800,976..1280,"800_480"
    m5=1024..1280,552..800,"1024_768"
    m6=600..800,976..1280,"1024_768"

    And in the sys.txt:

    [rawdisplay]
    driver=engine
    screen_xy="800_480:1280x720/720x1280:fullscreen"
