Anyone able to get TTS to work with this? Every time I select a TTS voice igo reverts back to a standard voice. If I try SVOX tts engine the TTS voices disappear from the list in Igo.

After messing around I managed to get things working, I had to get my Igo voice type to sync with my Svox voice type all is working! I can finally dump my WinCE gps and now go with my much faster Android GPS

If you have "old" voices either standard either TTS make sure you have in sys.txt this:

[sound]
csv_voice_enabled=1

You can look inside the zip file with WinRar and see if the voice has files with csv extension or with lua. "Lua" are newer voices with more features.

For TTS voices with "lua" files inside you need to edit inside the zip file:


Change:

tts_engine="xxx"

To:

tts_engine="android"

Use WinRar and edit the file without full decompression (it will save it back automatically when you finish.

This should work except for Jelly Bean (4.1.1) where NO Voices simple or TTS work with this version of Primo.

On my HTC sensation it works but only for a minute or so, then it exits the application without any warning. Any ideas on this? I really like it.:'(

I used your files and added North American maps, poi and buildings.

Noticed that there was no sys file. Do I need that?
