    Try install freeware "GPS TEST" from google-play. With this software you can find out how many sattellites reached by your HTC. Normally minimum 6 sattelites needed to make a Locked Position.
    Start it, then wait for about 5 to 10 minutes under the open sky. You should find some sattelites at your screen.
    If there is no sattellite at all, perhaps the problem is in your GPS Configuration file.

    Connect your device to your computer, and mark the MTP function so your HTC acted like a mass storage.

    At the root directory of your Micro SD Card, search for file "GPS.CONF"
    Open it with Notepad.

    There you should find the GPS configuration like this:

    #------
    SENSOR_GYRO_BATCHES_PER_SEC=2
    ENABLE_WIPER=1
    XTRA_SERVER_1=http://xtra1.gpsonextra.net/xtra.bin
    QUIPC_ENABLED=0
    XTRA_SERVER_3=http://xtra3.gpsonextra.net/xtra.bin
    XTRA_SERVER_2=http://xtra2.gpsonextra.net/xtra.bin
    DEFAULT_AGPS_ENABLE=TRUE
    SUPL_VER=0x10000
    CAPABILITIES=0x7
    NTP_SERVER=id.pool.ntp.org
    SENSOR_ACCEL_BATCHES_PER_SEC=2
    INTERMEDIATE_POS=1
    SENSOR_GYRO_SAMPLES_PER_BATCH=5
    ERR_ESTIMATE=0
    SENSOR_ACCEL_SAMPLES_PER_BATCH=5
    #CAPABILITIES=0x27
    SENSOR_CONTROL_MODE=0
    DEFAULT_USER_PLANE=TRUE
    DEFAULT_SSL_ENABLE=FALSE
    SENSOR_USAGE=0
    DEBUG_LEVEL=5
    CURRENT_CARRIER=common
    ACCURACY_THRES=0
    SENSOR_PROVIDER=1
    SUPL_HOST=supl.google.com
    #--------

    Try these codes, and save it as "GPS.CONF"
    But before you do this, back-up your Old GPS.CONF as GPS(OLD).CONF

    You can try freeware "Faster GPS", at Google-play.

    You should try it on the outside of your home. As you know it was searching for GPS signal so you must go outside for enabling GPS signals. Thank you.
