not a particular ardant poster, I paid to join as this site has frequently helped me,provided software (updated maps) which for a small token I can get as much as i need , dont see this as a big deal.

Well, despite complaining about no new content in the paid members section, I found out that when you subscribe using PayPal, this forum makes the donation a re-occurring payment. So not only don't you get anything, you have to pay again for the pleasure of not getting anything. So if you paid by Paypal, login to your account profile and look for "My Preapproved Payments" and see if you are paying as well.

I have not become a paid member yet, however; will be doing it when i get. because the cost of subscription is still less than buying anything from tomtom etc. This site have given me the latest maps, tools, poi, patched navcores, bootloaders all for free - so why should i not give something back?
My tomtom has all the latest maps etc and works like a charm, can download update via TT Home etc - so a big thank you for all the contributors here yes i could search the net for it all, but would take ages with all the spam sites etc - here it is all in one place.

well im a member of another forum (too many adverts) when i ask a question there im giving advice like you should know that or look in the search which is a nitmare made to look like a idiot etc

With this site you get no nonsence advice strait to the point very helpfull
only ever downloaded 1 thing from paid section but to me its helping the forum to keep going and making it stronger.

Tell me where in the paid area you can find any new TT maps, the last ones uploaded were April 2010. I have given a lot of time to this forum, that's my contribution.

I'm a little confused about paying. I have a 2005 Acura TSX car with an built in Navteq GPS unit. I want to update the maps and was told I need the 2011 Orange DVD Map Update v3.A0. If I pay to join this site, will it be possible to receive these updated maps on this forum? If so, is it something I download and burn to a CD, and then stick into my car? Thanks guys for the clarification.
