mm? I'm still doubting... on my A4 convertable from 2008 it says rns-e... when i boot up the system it says MMI... but no 2G or 3G.. where can I find the info

RNS-E does say MMI when it boots up - if it looks like an afterthought install then it's RNS-E - if it's an integrated screen in the top of the dash it's proper MMI of 2g or 3g flavour.

My guess would be RNS-E on an A4
