Audi Q3 navigation system, maps needed...

Hi everyone
My friend has a Audi Q3 with a built in navigation system, the SD card is missing, it wasn't delivered with the car, Audi wanted extra money for it...
On the screen, it says: the navigation system has not been activated, please contact your dealer
And the dealer wants 900 Euros !!
Is there any way around this?

Any help would be much appreciated

Yes it needs to be activated by Audi and apparently there is no way around it...
