    Could someone describe the procedure of installing new maps to MMI 3G? Is it necessary any special actions or equippment? Or just put in the DVD?

    Re: Audi mmi navigation (mmi 3g) 2009-2010

    I recieve the following error message when i unpack the downloaded files,
    CRC failed in 'AUDI MMI navigation (mmi 3g) 2009 2010\CDROM.mdf' File is broken.
    i have tride to redownload the specified part but still same error.

    the file appears to be larger than 6gb, so i think i am supposed to burn it to a duallayer dvd, is this correct? if this is the case could you ecplain how i can burn with a regular dvd writer.
    because mine is not supporting duall layer.

    could you please provide some advice?

    Do you in any way expect to be entitled to an answer?

    So keep queit and waint until you are being served or find a payed help desk for your problems

    • If the downloaded files fail to unpack correctly you will have to re-download or complain with your provider
    • If you don't have a DL dvd writerm, get one or else you have nothing to search for in this section
    • With a 3G installation you can not do the update yourself
    • If you have enough money to drive an Audi with 3G, you can probably also afford to have the unit updated

    @gazo

    i am sorry if i whas rude, that whas not the intention.

    i my self am not driving the audi, but trying to do a faifor for freinds.
    because its almost holliday season they want the new map data, and because they (and me) know nothing about it we were trying to learn something.

    again i excuse myself for beeing rude, but that most certianly whas not my intention.
