Hello mangos,
for the first use, you must have g-partet to partition your new 4gb cf card and win hex to write a little bit on it - pleas read older threats "how to prepare a cf card for v4 software" its the same like v5.

I've got a problem with my CF card, because I can't copy the image...
I have a Sandisc Ultra II with 2GB but I only have 2,045,000,000 bytes instead of the 2,048,901,120 bytes
also on my original CD card I don't have this amount of bytes to copy the image...
does anyone know how to deal with this issue?
thx
Sperti
to correct my last post, I have 2.045.805.568 Bytes on my CF Card and not the required 2.048.901.120...
Hi Sperti,
normaly, you have enough space for the new software.
Plese try g-parted to formate your CF-Card like software v4 and try winhex to write the missing files on your card - please read the old procedures (whow i make a cf card work for v4 from v3....)
greetings
Sonja
thx for feedback. I don't have linux installed on my systems, is there any software to format my cf card for windows?
and do you maybe have some link to the "old procedures"?
thx and cheers
Sperti
Hi Sonja
Trying to find your post that you are refering to. I have search all your posts on this forum but nothing.
I also read something about Speedtraps, Du you put them on the CF card? If so how? Just copy them?
@ Sperti
you dont must install linux - you must try the g-parted linux start-cd with linux auto-boot.
And with them, you can conigure and partition your cf card.
@ mangos
Speedtraps is a single cd, which you has to "install" or input in the cd-slot after the new version (maybe v5) in your cascade.
