How do I use this?
So far I have:
1. burned CD successfully
2. insert into my Becker
3. brief "loading" message
Then... no difference to operation?
Any ideas? I am running Becker V5.
Loading takes a few seconds and after that you will be warned at every speed camera position when routing is active
The explanation is included with every cd
And after you shut down and start again you will have to reload the cd again. It will not "remeber" that you have loaded the speedcam data

And without active routing you will be warned (beep) at every speed camera position (Cascade 7944).
All data are stored in the memory, to reset this data -> System Setup -> Reset Function -> Reset Settings => yes
After install remove cd and after shut down / restart all speedcam data are available.
Only limitation is you can not run all three cd`s at the same time.
It seems to depend on the model, the version or the fact that the battery voltage falls below a minimum level during engine start
It is also explained in the readme files that reloading after shut down may be required on some occasions
On Cascade and Traffic Pro 7945/7949:
Audible warnigns are issued even without routing. Symbols only appear during active routing and only while in Navigating or radio mode. Not if a sub-menu is activated!
Also the CD must be taken out of the drive.

now we have a tool to de-/encode *.lwd files
supported are all known lwd-files:
- Becker speed limit data (within navi CF iso image)
- speed cam data from various sources (speedtraps, Peugeot WIP, ...)
what is possible with this tool:
- Modify speed limits on navi CF (add / delete)
- Modify speed cam data (add / delete)
- Merge speed cam and speed limit data to be integrated in navi iso image
now there is no need for a speed cam CD anymore
furthermore it's a new feature for Mexico owners (units without CD drive).
just to keep one source: here is the link to the speedlimit_tool
btw: many thanks to mira308sw for *.lwd decoding
