DX cd's Burning advice

Hi there mate sorry to butt in.

I have been playing with computers for over 27 years, and I am 37 know.

I am currently a freelance programmer, so my words or explanation might be geeky sorry.

I get the impression you don't understand the concept of burning these type of operating systems/software on cd's.

It got to be done correctly unfortunately and even the cd/dvd quilty is even important branded or unbranded disc's.


WHAT I UNDERSTAND AFTER READING A LOT OF POST, ABOUT THE CD BURNER NEEDED FOR BURNING CD'S.

Your need to jump over to flee bay, and get a real old burner for cd burning, in this case for this particular task, Any burner that burns faster then x10 will not allow the disc to work properly.

The reason for this is simple, The laser head that burnt the original disc, was done via a professional copying system, The pro copying system, As stupid as it might sound, would be dedicated to burn a disc, so if anybody try to burn that particular disc it wouldn't burn, Home cd burners wouldn't be powerfull enogh to be able to pick the information up and burn it back, becouse off the low cheap laser head, in home burner's.

As time has gone on. and there was demand for better technology, more burners come out, or existing burners was allowed, to use pro laser heads for home use, off course the distubuting disc company's. were not happy, becouse know home user had finally a way to burn oregnal cds/dvds.

Fact.

Most people think that a branded burner, is better then a unbranded burner, WRONG,believe it or not, a unbranded burner will be a burner that not really known as a product name, so to get there self established, they try there best to use the best,known technology, what inside the pro system burner is adapted to there unbranded make, This is to over come the sales off there burner via word by mouth.((still a big statement in marketing, if you hear about something and it always coming up, there must be a reason, big hint member mention a ""plextor burner" fleebay get an old one recommended)).

Don't get me wrong , there loads of named burners on the market that are good, but personally, the unbranded ones usually end up being the best.

So get your plextor burner, and set it to burn at low speed, 1- 5 be ok in my opinion.



WHAT THE BEST DISC'S TO USE ON MY PLEXTOR FLEEBAY BURNER, FOR THIS SITUATION.

Easy, you been told already, same again, unbranded,(Verbatim)
sometimes there also weight, and plain topped cd's, there also from (Verbatim)
on a spindle.

Branded cd's are ok, and like i say, can burn but there intelligent, and design for personal use only, so the company got in mind of a copy cat .

Grate cd software to burn cd's/other's

X "WHATEVER AMOUNT",spindle off Verbatim cd's
downloaded program " Clone CD " also there "alcohol" (( they might cost so use ut))

Set up the plextor in your computer, slip a Verbatim cd in , use " Clone CD " or "alcohol" program at a low speed, to burn your oreganal cd/dvd disc

Speed 10x (impossible to set lower).

Hi Mate

After trying with loads of different cd media, i finally got it working using Taiyo Yuden, i used the following

- CloneCD 5.3.1.4
- Plextor px-798A and LG Blu ray writer ( plextor was set to 4x and LG 16x)
- Taiyo Yuden cd disk

and it burned Uk & IRL 2012-2013 DX with no problems

i had tried sony, verbatim, tdk and others with the same writers but none worked apart from the Taiyo Yuden disk

Taiyo Yuden worked first time, make sure you use a good writer eg Plextor or even the new LG blu ray writer

Hi everyone!
To burn in a right way your Navi CD you must use a good CD_DVD writer!
I use SAMSUNG writeMaster(DVD Multi) as hardware
and Clone CD 5.3.1.4 as software
Try this and everyone will have success!!
