Re: DX cd's Burning advice
You may have to try 50 times and still not succeed in burning a proper copy
And then if you re successfull and it runs in an Audi, a Mercedes or a Blaupunkt navi, it will still not run in a MFD2 from VW!
Your burner is essential
Only very few DVD burners are capable of writing a good copy of these cd's
Always use the lowest possible speed and use CloneCD or Alcohol with Safedisc setting or Use the sometimes includsed CPP file which holds the instructions for the program
Not the program itself but the writer determines the minimum speed setting
Most DVD writers cannot burn slower that 12 speed and success rate is almost nil
The best option is to use an old CD burner (Plextor is very good!
Also Medion notebooks are fitted with a TSST optical device which in most cases is perfect, although burning with 10 speed!
