Virtual Machine - XP Modus ... But if you don't know what that means, just don't try it out .

Did you check already all the parameters are set correctly in the "Writing options" tab?

i use VM -XP mode but when i start CDRWIN5, it didnt find CD where it should write images!!!
Why?? Please help meee!!!

CDRWIN find only virtual CD but i didnt install it..

Downloaded V$ maps, burned with CDRWin, VW-RNS-310 happily accepts CD, copies it to SD card.
CD not necessary any more, perfect display of my current position in my City,
even smallest streets are displayed correcty,
3D map display is peerless, accurate and fast.

BUT the thing doesn't compute any route, always issues the error message
"routenberechnung fehlgeschlagen" (route calculation failed),
even if the destination would be reachable by just continuing on the very same street the navi correctly indicates I'm on.

anyone got an idea what could be wrong?

that "V$ maps" should of course read "V4 maps", can find a button to edit my own post.

news: further test has shown that the route calculation off die CDRWin burned CD works fine, but with only the SD card inserted, that the RNS-310 has written to itself(!) I get that error message.

Hence I assume there was some mishap during RNS writing to the SD card. I'll simply try it again and post results.

Hi All!

I had the same problem. Formatted the SDcard with Panasonic's SD formatter's tool. Full format, format size adjustment, on.
After copied one map with RNS310 and could calculate route from SDcard.
Did not try to copy more maps yet.
