With a FSC code generator it will be easier. The only thing is that this tool needs api32.dll !

Looks like it needs EDIABAS 7.2.0 (found in BMW standard tools 2.11)

I didn't manage to make it work completely with this. Can anybody try this on a pc with XP ?(I tried on a mac with seven installed)

I definitely didn't manage to make it work. It looks like I have a communication problem (IFH0009 error on other programs) at the end only because I can get the VIN and CIC numbers...

I have the same problem. EDIABAS 6.4.7 is working properly but after upgrade to EDIABAS 7.2.0 doesn't work. I were testing FSC-tool but my biggest success was getting proper Vehicle info and information about my current map version. Bettery status is showing red circle with white X, and power is showing 12V. I think that critical is to properly setup EDIABAS 7.2.0 but it looks like I don't have enough knowledge

I installed on xp pro. Bmw tools 2.05, after standard Open ssl, and finally fsc-tools and fsc-reader; installation ok. To get the codes you must connect to the car? I use that port (OBD or USB in glove compartment)? How do I manually enter the vin? FSC-tools programs are free or paid? Thank you
