you need copy each DVD to each USB stick. So you got 3 USB stick...then insert sticks to USB, you can find it in the gloves box

Thanks to SIERA5 for CIC code, i use the dvd method, usb not work at me.. 32 GB usb 3.0 and 16 usb 2.0.

USB didn t work because you got old version firmware of you navigation CIC, you dont have option (google earth, night view and other) either. Do you agree ?

Does anyone had this kind of problem when updating the navi with usb.. First usb went fine to CIC. The code was asked and the updating proceeded to 33,3%. But when asking the second usb and inserting it the CIC says the navigation data is incomplete or has been manipulated. I changed the usb stick and again the first went fine but same note when inserting the second usb. Both usb are 16 GB and FAT32. Actually, I had the same problem with the first usb also but somehow it accepted the first usb later. What I have in root of the usb is the folder "pkgbd" with its contents and the file config.nfm.

Also, when looking the usb in the computer after inserting it to CIC the usb has lost almost all of the data. So should CIC erase the usb after updating the navi :O

Hello to all.

My name is Zak and i'm French, a few days I looked for a solution for activation road map for my CIC with HDD.

I went on this forum and then I view that navibmw1 provide codes.

I immediately contacted him and everything went very quickly.

I gave him the two VIN CIC and within 10 minutes that followed he sent me the FSC of the Road Map 2013

It is really pro and work very well. You can go there with eyes closed.

Perfecto, envío del VIN del coche y en 5 minutos ya tenía el código de activación que funcionó a la primera, para los que no sean muy de Inglés os describo los pasos para actualizar en mi caso un BMW 520d F10 del 2010 con Navi Professional.

Usar un pen drive de 32Gb (en mi caso USB 3.0) en formato FAT 32, una vez descargados los 3 ficheros, montar la imágen:
1) Copia el contenido del CD 1 en la raíz del USB
2) crear una carpeta para el CD 2 y el CD 3 y meter en ellas las carpetas y archivos de estos cd
3) Pinchar el Pen en el USB de la guantera, si no se inicia la actualización, entrar en ajustes del navegador
4) nos pide el código de activación comprado
5) Empieza la actualización, al 45% mas o menos nos pide el USB 2, sacamos el pen y con el ordenador quitamos los archivos del CD 1 de la raíz y ponemos los de CD2
6) Continúa la actualización, nos pedirá el CD 3, realizamos los mismos pasos que para el CD 2
7) tras aproximadamente 50 minutos llegamos al 100% y reiniciamos el navegador dando a OK
8) Actualizado

Durante todo el proceso tube el coche arrancado, aunque no se si es necesario.

I got CIC 2013 Roadmap FSC from Sieras5. I recommend it: Fast and helpful.

However, I've a problem with DVD's (verbatim DVD+R DL) burned on Mac with Toast. DVD becomes unreadable at end of disk 2 or disk 3 (randomly).

Do anyone knows if it's a problem caused by DVD, burner, burn program...? Any ideas?

I think my iDrive (2008/10 - e90 restyling) doesn't supports USB upgrade since firmware hasn't been update.

If you use Disc Utility to burn the .iso you shouldn't have a problem. I did this today with the same DVD's and it worked fine. Just select the .iso image and click on burn, the computer will do the rest. Toast can be quite unreliable?!
