No, the latest version for Australia is 2012 or v18 (I assume it's the same for NZ). BMW Map updates are provided by Whereis, but must be bought from a BMW dealer...

bmw high is compatible with carin/vdo non-ciq (eg ms5000) disc , as of this moment the latest is v17 aust/v6 nz, both are on the same disc. since the v16 high is available to download and the v17 is roughly 15 months old now there is not so much sense to shell out heaps of money for that. I guess it can be as much as $4-500 from a bmw dealer (hell, it is a luxury item!) or can be bought for $165 from whereis if you buy carin/vdo dics. if it was me I would go with the freely available v16 or wait till the v18 is released in october, by that time it will be available for around $220 from whereis (still talking about the vdo disc). of course going with the vdo disc is also means that there is no bmw logo on the disc but that's a way too much to pay for this slight difference if you favour the bmw dealer...
Hi Saber, I know its long time back you did it but I wonder if this still works? Appreciate for yur favorable response. Najam
Hi All,
I have 2006 E66 (740Li) and would like to know if anyone knows how to upgrade the Firmware.
Cheers
Can I burn it into a RW DVD or CD?
Can someone please be so kind to upload either 2010, 2011 or 2012 BMW Australia Professional CD (purple)? I have tried all the links in this thread however it returns with an error - Download permission denied by uploader. (0b67c2f5). Apparently recently Rapid Share have changed their settings and all previous uploads have been set to private so the original uploader has to login and change the setting back to public. Really appreciate the help guys
Yes i can concur, all RS links are now dead...
Thank you for the advice in the thread regarding what to do with the files... Alas, all links are now dead.
