Hi I have business Nav with GCC map DVD 2006-2. Any upgrade available for this business version
CD or DVD makes no difference for a MK4 computer

I can't figure out what am I doing wrong.
I even burned the same ISO file using MagicIso using mode 2, to no avail. The system not even recognized the CD.
Is there any thread with step by step instructions on how to burn the ISO files?
Thanks for the prompt response.
sure to have the 'high' nav system? and you wrote it as image not data (eg not a single iso file on cd). try it with alcohol120, or imgburn's 'write image to disc' function
Please give a summary of the files that are on the completed cd

I really don't know the difference between a 'High' nav disk and any other. My car is a 2001 740iL wide screen upgraded with an MKIV nav computer (orinaly had an MKIII). So, is my car able to usea 'High' nav disk?
I've check one original BMW CD (USA Disk No4 2007.2), and when I read it with imgburn it shows it is in Mode2Form1; however, the ISO file I've got shows up as a Mode1.
Someone mentioned earlier that it don't matter whether using a CD or a DVD to burn the ISO file; but I also read that a DVD is always burn on Mode1; so I guess it does matter.
After burning the files in the CD are:
ABSTRACT 1KB
ARRDIRCT 1KB
BIBLIOGR 1KB
carindb 18,418KB
CARINET 740KB
COPYRIGH 1KB
And even using MagicIso in Mode 2 the system still does not show any details on the screen.
if you have mk4 you can use north america dvd s, one for east coast and the other for west coast. maybe it is easier to produce a working dvd.... btw mode1 or mode2 question is not applicable in case of a dvd, such a disk is always written in UDF format, it is just a mere coincidence that the blocksize (2048 bytes/sector) is equal to a mode1 cd.
and meanwhile you download and burn a proper copy of bmw high dvd you are invited to share your cd as other fellas form the states are after it in the other topics.
one more thing: lack of details can be derived from that your current location is not mapped on the cd being used. you might know that the complete set for north america is a made of 9 or 10 discs. you can find information on the mapped area in the abstact file on the cd.
