Hi, where does that information come from, is it a realiable source? My Chrysler dealer doesn't know anything about this update and they don't have the part number in their system.

There are some grey or black market offers from a Dutch guy - and that's where these pictures come from, I hope these are not fake!

So - can anyone confirm the update?

That makes your question rather silly I think

The cover as advertised looks genuine. Why? Well because only on 2011 editions Navteq have changed their logo to Navteq Maps where formerly Navteq on Board was used!
I suggest you purchase the "dodgy" or "suspect" update from this guy and return it when you're not satisfied

No. Someone might have direct confirmation from Chrysler that such an update exists at all - my dealer hasn't heard about it and doesn't have it in their system, but probably that doesn't mean much.

The guy advertising this edition asks 55 euros for a mediocre set of copies + instruction leaflet

In fact the 2011 update was published in October 2011 with data from Q2-2009
First of all Chrysler/Jeep refuses to update their systems and when they do the software is completely outdated. Official retail price is 249 Euros
The database files are 100% identical to those of the Audio 50 APS NTG1 V11.0 which was published early 2010


PS The 2007 edition btw had Q3-2005 data which was more or less acceptable since the edition came out late 2006

for the Audio 50 APS NTG1 exist a new 2012 Version.
Does it fit into the RB3 in a Chrysler ?
