I burned with a pioneer 112, imgburn on verbatim dvd+r dl at 2,4x speed.
The update starts, but after this, the dvd could not read.
Any tips? Perhaps take a try with verbatim dvd-r dl?

Your best bet is another DVD writer

And the Pioneer is fitted with FW 1.09?

The pioneer have the firmware for the audi rns e dvds, I think dangerous brothers?!

Anyway your writer 112l is not on the list. So don't expect it to work
Other writer is recommended.
Do not waste any money on DVD-R DL too expensive and not necessary

How could I see this?
I know, that the pioneer write DVD+R as DVD-ROM with imgburn or alcohol 120%.

On a Pioneer DVD Writer the Booktype is always set vorrectly automatically with any program
Your writer should be a type:
111D Firmware 1.29 seems crucial
112D firmware 1.09
112BK Firmware 112L

If not you will have to find another writer.
Really the best writers for any purpose are those found in the Medion Notebooks and made by TSST
