Re: Newbie with Chinese Double Din - GPS not working
I have a Chinese system also, however on the GPS menu remove the check-mark if there is one and select "Auto-detect" My unit's is at port 3, 9600 baud. You can also insert these settings manually to the SYS.TXT file, however the GPS "Auto-detect" should work.
Re: Newbie with Chinese Double Din - GPS not working
Dear forumers,
I just bought a China Double Din DVD GPS system. It does not come with SD card or built in GPS although it stated it support GPS. Now I need help to install GPS into it which I totally do not know what I need to put inside the sd card. I stay in Singapore so I need the GPS to support singapore and malaysia roads.
Can some kind soul teach me what file to download onto a fresh SD card so as to let the system detect the GPS system in the SD card?
I am very unhappy with the company I bought from because the set is faulty and they refuse to reply to my emails. The CD cannot even be loaded. The system cannot be controlled from my steering wheel control although the website claims it could. The TV cannot detect any channel at all no matter what I do to the antenna.
The model is as attached in the picture for my peugeot 308. T7998.
