I have the IGO Primo navigation installed on my chinese radio unit. It works fine, already upgraded the maps with no problem at all.
Unfortunately there is one thing I can't seem to fix, and that is the sound of the radio keeps going on while the navigation gives directions.

The sys.txt is probably the key.

Original text in the sys.txt is

I've modified it to:

For a long time I found my primo worked great, and one day it decided to crash. Thinking I corrupted the software, I reinstalled it. It could run for days without a problem, then it would crash. I've tried several versions and some crash more than others. The version i installed yesterday crashed after IGO ran for maybe 20 seconds. After crashing about 4-5 times, I shut it off. I have been using Igo versions from 9.6.2 and up.

Could it be that I just installed the newest maps? (Canada_83_NQ_2012.Q4_130320.fbl)
Could it be the DEM file which was also installed around the same time as the crashes? (Canada_CGIAR_Premium_2006.06_090312)
Could it be the skin which I have also tried a few, but mainly have used diMkaWA_P153_zervdim.
Could it be a memory problem? I've tried different memory settings and still had problems. I finally deleted my raster to help free up memory. Didn't work.
Could there be something I have put in my sys.txt that doesn't fit well?

i Have Mio p560 Device, with: iGO8 v8.3.2.91972

i use this GPS once in year when i travel in europe, usually Germany.

I copy maps to my device 4 years ago!! its a long time.... it was 4 years that i use same germany map.
Now i decided to to copy New updated map. so i download package with all euruope maps(iGO R3 Europa TomTom 2012 Q2).

i only want to copy germany map. i see that some of the maps come with FPA,FDA,FTR,HNR files. i read about them.
BUT
my question is if my version of IGO (iGO8 v8.3.2.91972) will support those files??
and if it support and if not, can i only transfer the FBL file and Poi file?
for example, i have:
Germany_R3_TomTom_2012.06_120712.fbl
Germany_TomTom_Legacy_2012.06_120822.poi
Germany_R3_TomTom_2012.06_120712_(AP).fpa
Germany.ftr
Germany.fpa

and floder with many hnr files (at my version i dont have hnr floder and fpa floder at iGO8 v8.3.2.91972\iGO8\content Floder)
