Need help with rns510,few weeks ago rns was dificult to start,then 2 days ago RNS of itself aks like cd with software was instrted to start load new soft i have reseted manualy navi has start but with no sound from speakers then i have reinstal 4120 modified all went ok radio was ok again but just one day :( .It started one more time now is starting but screen is black and like i notice is restarting from time to time.
Advice???

i have a problem with my rns510. it wont load the newest map version (7918). i have tried different types of discs(dvd+r, dvd-r) and different manufacturers ( philips, verbatim, imation).
every time it says dis error and throws it out. i tried different burning speeds (1x, 2x, 2,4x, 4x) all without success.

after that i tried the dvd's in other rns510, and there they worked without a problem, loading went all good.

a few days ago i saw a post here from someone who said that he also had same problem with new firmware, and he downgraded to 39xx firmware to load new maps and re upgrade to newest firmware.
i tried to do downgrade but all i get is downgrade error with rns telling the target version is newer then the specified version.
i enabled sw downgrade from secret menu, and it confirmed on screen that sw downgrade will be possible but every time i insert cd with fw 4120 (factory original fw), it first boot up with sw loading, after that completes the unit reboots and then i get error message and i need to reinstall 52xx fw.

my question here is:
- are there more people with same problem with loading newest maps on new devices/firmware?
- how can i downgrade?


- my unit is h index with h70, can i downgrade to 3980?

I'm trying to connect a vw low line RGB camera to a RNS 510 A unit, but the unit doesn't switch to reverse camera when switch to reverse gear, althought I have enabled the reverse camera low option in th Navigation with VCDS.

Any clues, how could I get it working?
