my friend bought a car (BMW X5 E53 30d 2002 Mk4) and 3 days ago he ask me for nav disc because the car is with orig discs from 2004 I think. I give him my 2013 copy and when he put it in his car the monitor begins to start and off. It shows the logo BMW in the begining and it restart. Then I try to eject the disc but it can't be done - the lamp lights a couple of times and that's it. I can't tell you what's the SW because I can't start the monitor so please tell me what must I do to fix it because I feel horrible for that the disc was mine but I eject it from my E65 v32 and there everything was OK.

sorry for the post but after googling a lot and trying to get some answers, i now have only questions:

I currently own an 1998 BMW 320D E90 with the Pro satnav CCC (navigation by DVD)

i downloaded the DVD with speedcams present in this forum, i burn it with an iso burner in a DVD + R (Verbatin) with no success, the satnat does not recognizes the presence of the dvd.


Same process with different media, same result.


I know this is a newbie question but i really tried to discover it by myself and get no success. If someone could give me a small hand on this...
