Why you're getting a double I can't say. Just make sure that when you do the edit, that there isn't a double url entry.
Also, do click on "leave page" when you post. Your post will be posted. To see, just go back to the thread. Don't post it twice.
When i edit post, the faulty aref arent vissible anymore. Evenso as your suggested double url. I neatly shows a correct inserted link.
When i enter a link, I place only one url (with brackets) before and after the link..

I need to edit posted messages after posting. When editing exsists of entering a space after the inserted link, I get an clickable link.
When i copy an internet adress from the adressbalk, it has always http// in it. I tried removing this http//, but still the problem remains.
What browser do you use?

Current FF for the most part - 99.9% Maybe you need CCleaner [spelled correctly] to clean your computer?

It works for me. I guess "your mileage may vary", as with GPS units... ;-)
