I think that using the "code" before and after is causing the problem. Try using ONLY the "url" before and after.
Hi there. I have some issues making links to external pages clickable.
Inserting a http link via the advanced menu due to wrapping [ code ] tags and inserting also the [ url ]and [/ url ] codes besides the link gives me the following link when submitted:
Naamloos.jpg
so the link above was typed as
#code##url#linktoexternalsite#code##/url#
Thereby said that i know the # should actually be the [ and ], but to explain here my typing I replaced the [] with some #
Also the spaces in [ url ] and [ /url ] should be removed, im aware of that.
I copy and paste the linktoexternalsite from the browser direct into the wrapcodes.
But clicking on this created link, will mostly only show me the Google window that Google could't find the site:
Naamloos.jpg
For some reason, entering a space of an tick on the enter-button after the created link and thén submitting the message/post will create clickable links, but not always.
It sometimes works, somtimes it doesn't.
I have noticed that the probable cause is in the a href .
In clickable links this a href lettercombination isnt there/isnt vissible.
I,m working with Chrome, W7 and have allready tried the Message Editor Interface settings.

Nope. Tried it.
When i press enter after i submitted your sollution, I get an clickable link.
So text submitted áfter a inserted link is a propable cause.
When this text is placed under the link, it seems to help...![]()

I'm doing this as a test. Love your signature line - so very true.
EDIT: Worked fine for me. Url "this" /url with brackets.

Please try it with an existing site. Where your link is directing to is a non existing site, there isnt a site named link.

strange, when i first posted the message above, aref was written ahead of the link and so the link was not clickable.
When i pressed "edit" and saved the message, these href letters were gone and the links were clickable..

I think I figured out what your problem is. Do an "edit post" on the your post that has my link. You'll see that "url" is written twice. Should only be once before and after. Why that might be happening, I don't know. But if it occurs in later posts, just do an edit post and correct the double url.
