I am probably the gazillionth one who asks, but why dont you share maps on usenet? Links to fileshare servers are annoying, to put it mildly. Speeds up to 50k, one file per hour...that takes ages before a map is downed.
It is not a complaint, dont misunderstand me...just a question!
You wanna do whát with that screwdriver

Thanks, but how do you guys download now then? Ive installed jDownloader, but thats going to take ages as well. And then there is the matter of Captchas....?
For most uploaders here are reluctant of using usenet to post, i still use jd to down the files. Its the best in its class of internet down managers.
Ive never succeeded to get round the capthas automaticly with jd. If you have acces to your router, you can set up a changing ip adress though. This should speeds up your down speed. See the JDforum. http://board.jdownloader.org/
Or i sometimes use 2 different pc's to down different parts at the same time...
Practicly, ive made a list of the worst hosters. Sometimes i just wait until someone hosts at a better one. Unfortunately.
As it is only a hobby from me to upload to usenet, i refuse point-blank to buy any premium accounts of them. (except for usenet as none of the free account has an upload capability)

Thanks for the suggestion Boss.
I understand what you say about refusing to buy a premium account, I think the same way.
Some use the argument that often server retention is too low, but who cares about maps from 3 years ago anyway
Many providers provide usenet access to its clients, including upload capability, so maybe that is something to consider?
Anyhow, hopefully maps will show up on usenet soon![]()
