Hello guys, does anyone know if I can find maps for the newer model of Ford Mondeo (built since 2007), European version, with touch screen navigation? Thank you!

Do you need to burn the firmware update to a cd or dvd?

Re: Ford Denso Touchscreen DVD 2011/2012
Hi all!
One question: I burned the DVD without problems. When I put in the systems I can see the maps, and the version showed is OK.
But, when i search for a destination, the searching bar goes up til 90 % and then get the error: "Cant find the route" or something like that.
It works well with the 2009 DVD that I burned from the post Ford Denso Touchscreen Western and Eastern Europe 2009-2010
The firmware version or operating system is v4.40
Any ideas about what I can do?
Thanks in advance
Marcelo

Re: Ford Denso Touchscreen DVD 2011/2012
OK after a little bit of hassle with this I've got it working on my Denso Nav. Downloaded the files from the first post.
Now howto:
1. Burn the Firmware on the Verbatim DVD+R and don't forget to set the booktype to DVD-ROM in ImgBurn. Burn on the lowest speed.
(I have tried CD, DVD-R and both were not recognized by the DVD drive in the car, only DVD+R set to DVD-ROM worked like a charm!)
2. Start your engine, eject the DVD with maps from DVD drive and insert Firmware DVD, it will load up automatically and flash itself completely, no need to turn off the ignition at all.
3. Burn the Maps on the Verbatim DVD+R DL and don't forget to set the booktype to DVD-ROM in ImgBurn. Burn on the lowest speed.
4. Insert Maps DVD into DVD drive and you are all set.
I have used USB external Lite-On eTAU-108 DVD burner, ImgBurn works well with this one.
Also I have tried to find some route in the navigation to see, if it ends up on 90% or not and the route was found correctly with everything else.
Hope this helps someone a bit.
