It is impossible, also with USB Image tool, to copy the SD card into a fully working copy!

Well, I tried using USB Image Tool. Apparently, it works correctly, and in fact I compare my original SD and the copy with HxD and both are identical (size and content).
But the problem is that the copy doesn't work in my navigator.

    Any other idea?

    Never!
First of all, I made a mistake because I used a SDHC card which seems uncompatible with SD readers. So, I will try with an SD card.

    I will revert.

By the way, I found a message (by pressing SET & NAV at the same time) concerning SD card telling something like "incorrect instalation" (in fact, I don't know the correct way in english, because I use spanish) with a 5 in it (is like a counter; I'm afraid if this counter reaches a limit perhaps navigator will block; any experience?)

    About navigation software & firmware

I don't know if this will get a success (probably not), but anyway I'm trying to investigate about navigation software & navigator firmware.
I'm writing my investigation results on a spanish forum (http://www.clubfordmondeo.es/foro/po...eo-t12889.html)

Please do but I can assure you it is hopeless
All efforts to crack the Cryptnav coding have failed

And, have you noticed that copy cards for Ford or Nissan are not for sale on Ebay? Remarkable

You are right, but I prefer to think it's only ...until now.

Downloading flah memory to an SD

Just a question, if anyone knows: does anybody know how to download the content of the flash memory from the navigator to an SD?
As you know, it is posible to add mannually POI's to the navigator. So, if we could compare the content of the flash memory with the content of the SD, we would probably know how the system stores POI's.

New idea (perhaps is already tested...?).
I've read that old versions were on CD instead of SD. In that case, you could make a copy on SD.
Knowing this, I've written a procedure that could work. I cannot test it because:
    1. I don't have CD, but original SD
    2. I didn't found until now SD no HC for my 4GB maps.

But if someone is interested and could test the procedure, results would be interesting (why not?)
