If you wrote the 43 files to a DVD you did something stupid

You must extract the ISO file from the 43 rar files and then burn the image to sic by openeing that file with Imgburn

No, I did'nt write the 43 files to a DVD. I've extracted them with 'WIN RAR' , then I had zip files and after another extracting operation, I got 'regular' files: 1 IDX map and 8 KWI files and 2 VIRTUAL files, but NO ISO file....nowhere to be find! The entire map concluding all files = 6.7 Gb

Then you indeed did something terrubly wrong

I personally compressed the 2 ISO files in the post and I can assure you that there is no ZIP file in this archive.
The only thing you have to do is to open part1 with WINRAR and you will see this:



You select this file and go to extract

Anything else you do or see is absolutely wrong

what will happen,if i directly use the unmodified DVD from jaguar(without deleting the file "loading.kwi")?does the navi unit reject the disc?

You would be a fool to try it since this "no good for anything navigation" will proceed to load new software that is not intended for this equipment and consequently may stop responding completely. Re-flashing the unit may be required if not disposal

I have uploaded this set of modified file to safeguard people like yourself from doing something stupid!

This image can be written to a DVD5


For these DVD to function properly SW version 4.40 is required

If you recently downloaded the latest dvd's for JaguarXJ-S type, just delete the file LOADING.KWI from the image with UltraISO or MagicIso.

Will this work in a 2004 X Type Jaguar at all?
Is the upgrade disk just for the Ford system?
