Thanks for the upload, interesting tool on cursory examination. This tool may not be effective with the new security protection that's being rolled out currently though.

Probably not. This tool was around for a while now. It is very handy for editing 25 digit code inside the .img files for adopting them to any gps.

I have a Garmin nuvi 765 and I'm trying to update the map into the GPS. I downloded [North America][NT 2011.10][3D][Mapsource][4.47 GB] from here http://gpsunderground.com/forum/show...source-4.47-GB I ran the file CNNANT2011_10Update.msi to installed it and then I followed Pictures Tutorial For the Dummies On how to unlock maps on your Garmin from here http://gpsunderground.com/forum/show...on-your-Garmin

I open up Garmin_Unlock_Generator_1_5_FID5DIGIT and put in the unit ID, for software product I selected Garmin Mobile PC, click on generate to get software unlock code, select map product I pick custom mapset and put in MapID 2211, click on generate and got the map unlock code. Open up Notepad and put in the map unlock code and save it as "gmapprom.unl" and I put that file in the Garmin folder and replace the old .unl file (H:\Garmin).

I open up MapSource (Version 6.16.1) and it say the map is locked, so I clicked on "Unlock Maps" => "Unlock Regions" => "Add" and the I put in map unlock code and now it say under status for the map "Unauthenticated". What do I do next to get this map update onto the GPS?

Did you get the Juntion View, 3D, and traffic to work. I can get the map to work, but none of the extras.

How do you install that and find out if is working or not?
