Lads how create unlock file for map, i have unlocked *.img map and i want move to other satnav, i have unlocked code, only how looks this unlocked file *.unl ?

Just going to throw this one out there. Gmapprom is the original set of maps on our device right? Once we have downloded a new set of maps can we just delete the original set of maps and replace them with the new gmaprom.img file or do we lose information.

That will take care of MAPS only, and they will work properly.

Depending on your model you may loose things like Junction View, 3D-buildings, Voice Commands, Smart Route features if you don't update the other files that go with the specific release version of the gmapprom.img you want.

Look at the specs for your model GPS on the garmin site to see what features your model supports and also read the section on updating maps on your device.

The easiest thing to do is

1. pull thge IMG you want from the the initial GPS and put itr on the PC
2. download the tool "FastIMGUnlocker.exe V2.1"
3. Run the tool om the IMG file and it will become unlockable/unlocked
4. Copy the IMG to any GPS or SD and it will wok if you name it correctly and put it in the correct folder.
