Garmin Nuvi lifetime traffic problems

Is it possible to have two traffic subscriptions in one GPS traffic receiver (Navteq and TT Network)?

If it is possible how would I select which one to use?

You can have multiple subscriptions on you receiver. I thing the ROM in GTM-20 supports about 20.

Behavior in GPS models may differ, in the 7x0/GTM-20 models they are either ALL-ON or ALL-OFF. You can't selectively choose which you are using. The selection is based on a station search by the receiver and whoever it locks onto first is the winner. If it looses reception it will re-search. The choice at any time between TTN and NEVTEQ is sort of arbitrary, the content is virtually the same (in my opinion they both stink).

Do you know what is the best software to do Garmin Backup? I have Acronis True Image Home 2010, however, it does not show Garmin hard drive. Thanks

Garmin Backup means that you connect your GPS to your PC and copy all the original Map files from your GPS to your PC...

I have a question concerning about Garmin nuvi 265WT lifetime traffic. I want to use a hacked map update for my nuvi 265WT, however, I dont know if I am still able to use my lifetime traffic. I just afraid that Garmin will block the traffic feature if I use the hacked map. Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

The 2011 NA file found on this site works just fine in my 265WT. Of course the traffic feature only works if the special power cord is used.

i have used latest NT 2011.20 map on sd card and the map is working fine. but my traffic is not working. once i use the original map on my garmin device, the traffic works fine. i have the original cord. any reasons?? any suggestions?

First:Make a backup of your old map to your computer.
Then: put the new map on the flash disk of your device(in case you have enough free Mb on your Flash Disk)

ow your traffic messages will appear again on your screen

you mean copy the map on garmin device instead of using it on sd card?

currently; i have the original map on garmin device and i copied new map on sd card.. when i use only original map; the traffic works fine.. once i use the map from sd card (NT 2011.20); the traffic reception is there and it says no delay but there is delay..
