Suna Traffic not working since last update - 2 seperate Garmin devices

I have a 1490T in my private vehicle and also a 1390T that I take when travelling with hire cars..

Both have their own traffic receiver / power cable..

They have each worked perfectly in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane previously.

Since the last recent software update I have lost traffic functions on both devices..

I have tested both in Perth and Sydney and there is NO traffic information and even the Traffic option in the menu is no longer available.

    Is anyone else experiencing this..

both devices lost traffic immediately after the last update...

Re: Suna Traffic not working since last update - 2 seperate Garmin devices

    Hello everybody,
I had a similar problem with my traffic reciever not working on my 265wt after I upgraded my map. The icon either did not show up or it would show up but the icon never changed color. I managed to get around this by doing a factory reset, with the upgraded map taken out, and then tried it again after in stalling the new map and it worked again. I hope this helps?

I have a 1390T with GTM25 and a 765 with GTM20. Both have lifetime subscriptions for Navteq and Total Traffic but I still have the ads shown on screen.
Does anybody know the FID for the FREE Navteq, so I try to remove it?

You can remove the Navteq Subscription but you loose the entire service, not just the ADs

Use the Jetmouse 1.5 keygen with checksum fix and your FM unit ID

28935,0,0,0 (To turn NAVTEQ USA off)
31751,0,0,0 (To turn NAVTEQ CAN off)

Power cycle the GTM and NAVTEQ will be completely gone

You should also go to your GPS and remove the folder where the ADs are cached or they will still appear.
Delete the folder named "DDB" in this path.

    x:\garmin\poi\DDB (in the 765)
x:\.system\poi\DDB (in the 1390"I Think" ... you may have to look around for it)

I was thinking that there are two different FID for Navteq - one for the free, ad supported subscription (which I got with the receiver) and a different one for the paid lifetime (without ads).
I was under impression the the 28935 is paid lifetime (without ads). Same for CAN one.
And yes, I did found the DDB folder on both devices, but keeps reapearing after deletion.

    nüLink!

My nüLink subscription has expired on my 1690. Is there any crack for this, or does nüLink operate with two-way communication so that the server recognizes my unit as expired?
