I have a question concerning about Garmin nuvi 265WT lifetime traffic. I want to use a hacked map update for my nuvi 265WT, however, I dont know if I am still able to use my lifetime traffic. I just afraid that Garmin will block the traffic feature if I use the hacked map. Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Hi lamlong123
I would try putting your new map on your Garmin first as I updated my map and my traffic dissapeared, as I had deleted my 2009 map, once I put my 2009 map back on Traffic came back so now I just unselect it from my Nuvi and use new updated map
Hope I helped
There are several theories as to why some maps don't work with traffic. These are often downloaded IMG files.
I use mapsource original files to upload my maps onto my nuvi giving it a mapset name of "All" and have never had a problem. My maps reside on my nuvi drive. I don't know if this makes a difference.
I would obtain a mapsource version of the map and replace your existing map on the nuvi. Caveat Emptor
Bon Chance

Hi lamlong123
I would be very cautious before deleting your existing map that is working with Traffic, take a copy of your original (back it up) first then try a new map, My Traffic stopped working when I went from 2009 to 2010, just as well I had the original image from my purchase to put back into my Nuvi 765. As Andy1 says it's always better to use Mapsource to load maps to your device
Hope I helped and not confused as it's better to air on caution than to jump in the deep end and learn from a bad excerise
Cheers
Is it possible to have two traffic subscriptions in one GPS traffic receiver (Navteq and TT Network)?
If it is possible how would I select which one to use?
Thanks
Edit: I should have mentioned, I am using a Nuvi 760 with the GTM20

Set on to any pending TMC station that you had subscribed. If you have two TMCs accounts. Turn both on - all will be auto reception.
