Garmin Maps Issues

Does anyone know how to unlock this one? I have tried to generate code but I get still the error map locked.
I want to unlock it on my computer because the nuvi250 that I have doesn't have enough space ( only 1.3G) and I want to manually select.

If you're talking about Mapsource version of the CN Europe 2011.10, you probably didn't replace the original mapsource.exe file with the patched one, link is at the bottom. You can find it in the folder C:\Garmin if you didn't choose a custom folder for the installation.


Here is how to for the full process of unlocking the map after you've replaced your mapsource.exe file:

0. Start the keygen
1. On the top of the keygen type in your device serial number
2. On the lower part of the keygen (NOT the middle one where it says Garmin Mobile XT) click on the drop down box and select <custom mapset>, enter 2204 and hit OK
3. Press "Generate"
4. Go to Mapsource
5. Utilities > Manage Map products
6. Unlock Regions > Add
7. paste the unlock code in the upper field
8. Hit OK

2. Install Maps - in c:\garmin

4. Using MapSource transfer maps to device

How can I use a DLC file? I downloaded it using jdownloader but it's a dlc file. How can I extract it?

Help will be greatly appreciated.

Open the DLC file with Jdownloader or doubleclick on it. You shold see new link packs under jdownloader`s tab Links

use some apps like cryptload, jdownloader etc. to download that files, DLC file isn't full content of file which you want to download, it's just container of links, with JDOWNLOAD program open it

after loading .dlc file in jdownload , you'll see all links in program, and just start downloading, after finishin of downloading all links, in d:\jdownoader you'll have all files which you'll can extract ...
