    Use BaseCamp to view Garmin IMG map files with land based map data (and HomePort for marine charts). Specially if they contain raster map data as the map in this thread.

    Example with GB Discoverer 1:50K and 3 different raster data layers at different zoom levels

    Map detail = High | Zoom = 15 km



    Map detail = High | Zoom = 3 km



    Map detail = High | Zoom = 700 m
