Is there a way to install this into Mapsource? Or can it only be loaded onto a GPS?

It took me around 2 hours to figure out how to install this stuff onto my Garmin nuvi, so let me clarify:

If you only need the maps for one province, then all you have to do is:
1) Find out the Garmin Unit ID on the GPS :Tools>Settings>System>About and copy the 10 digit number.
2)Rename the Disc Image file for the province that you need to "gmapsupp" and put it in X:\Garmin.
3)Get the unlock code with Jetmouse and paste that into Notepad.
4)Save the Notepad document as "GMAPSUPP.UNL" (including the brackets this time) in X:\Garmin.
That worked, at least for me, after turning off the City Navigator mapset but I'm not sure of how to have 2 or more maps running at the same time or have more than 1 province loaded into the GPS. Thanks for the files, and hope this helps!

The files in this download package contains completely untouched files directly from Garmin with the original file names intact.
Most of the newer Garmin units doesn't need to rename the original untouched Garmin files to "gmapsupp.img" or "gmapsup2.img". The file characteristics for a specific Garmin unit is detected by XML data in the "[Garmin unit drive]:\Garmin\GarminDevice.xml" file. If there is a "NMaps" tag there then you should keep the file names intact and just copy the map files to the path in the "NMaps" location section. That path would normally be Garmin or Map depending of type of unit.

Maps unlocked with JM KG and UNL-files should store the UNL-files together with the map files in the same directory. Map files that's unlocked with Fast IMG Unlocker (FIU) will just need the map file.

Im trying to add my saskatchewan map to either mapsource or my garmin nuvi and i cannot figure out how to get it to come up on either of the 2 can someone please help me
