With cityXplorer maps you can access all the information you need to get around the city you're visiting on foot or public transport .
If you're visiting a new city on holiday or business, a cityXplorer map downloaded to your nüvi helps you get around just like a local. The enhanced pedestrian mode gives you walking directions, including footpaths and shortcuts through parks, with landmarks indicated along the way. The public transport mode tells you where to catch trains, buses and tubes (where relevant) and how long it will take to reach your destination. cityXplorer public transport timetables ensure you arrive at the station on time and don't have to wait too long for your connection.
This file ,added to your CityNavigator North America 2012.30, will allow you to use pedestrians features and public transports in every big city in NA.
This file will add CXs features to 32 cities in your GPS , many CXS in just one small file
to unlock add an *.unl made with Jetmouse kg. for FID 800 to enhance ped.features and public (NO CNA FID and NO PID 2 IS NEEDED)
to use this file you must have CNAM NT 2013.10 in your nuvi
Copy CXNA 2013.10.img along its CXNA 2013.10.unl in sd in "Map" folder (same name different ext)
It wont show in Map list coz it's just an addon to your CNNA 2013.10

FULL MAP
You can use it ALONE in your gps, no CNNAM 2013.10 is needed.

Note:
If you want 3D buildings in your Full CX remove CNA 3D map from .System copy it in sd and rename it to Full CXNA_3d 2013.10.img (same name+_3d and different ext)

Additional infos:
If you have CNA map in your Nuvi use SMALL map, it wont appear in map list ,but it will work just adding cities EPM to your existing CNA.
If you dont have CNA map in your Nuvi, use FULL cx map, it will appear in map list coz you'll have a complete NAcx-cities map in your Nuvi. (SMALL map with just MMR wont work without CNA map)
To test NA CX ,fix the satellites in the city or simulate in one of the cities putting your position in the city.
NA CX.img name and .unl name must be the same ,different extensions- To make the .unl with JM Kg use just FID 800
Both files go in sd in "Map" (not "map" - not Garmin) folder

zippy share states they dont have second half of full file and big torrents say they were hacked and they lost the file is there any chance you could up the full city explorer again?
just tried again on big torrents it seems to be ok now the first time i tried it didnt work thank you for the work you put in here

Hi, I have nuvi 760 with map 2013.10. I created a folder call "Map" in the 1Gb Sd card in FAT32. This is the name i use, Full CXNA 2013.10.img and Full CXNA 2013.10.unl, is that correct? How do I know it's working? I went into setting, map info and i only see 2013.10 map. thx

did you read the additional infos just about 2 or three posts above your post, it explanes at times you wont see it hope that helps

click "tools" click "settings click "system" then click usage mode if its working you should see under pedestrian "powered by cityXplorer"

Hi All
Can anyone answer a question for me.
I have a Nuvi 1490 which has the Europe map on (2013) as we are visiting the US later in the year I've added the North America Map 2013 to 4GB micro SD card
now I've added the city explorer files in the Map folder but it’s still not working.
city explorer img file = 79.990kb
city explorer unl file = Blank txt file with 25 characters long code (file ext. changed to .unl)
SD Card files & Folders:
Root/Map/cityexplorer.img (Not working)
Root/Map/cityexplorer.unl (not Working)
Root/Map/North_America_Map_2013.img (working)
(Can I add Root/Map/North_America_JCV file here as well)
Any help is welcomed,

Hi, I think you have spelt it wrong in my map folder for the europe one is spelt (FullCXEU_2012.40.img and FullCXEU_2012.unl) Give it a try for NA and good luck.

Sorry I didn't explain it too well The Nuvi 1490 came loaded with the europe map (I brought it in the uk) so thats all working fine
The SD Card:
This is for when I visit the US. (Bit of a road trip)
/Map/North_America_2013.img (this is working fine)
I would like to get the city explorer maps as well just to help out when we are there.
I'm not getting the cityxplorer when in pedestran mode (No Cityxplorer writing below)
also anyone now about adding the JCV to /Map/North_America_2013.img - will it work ?
