TOPO France v3 Pro

Hi folks,



I downloaded the 12 unlocked files of TopoFrance V3 (3.69Go) and the SQL file (75 132 Ko).

Now, I know I must install the TopoV3 .img in Mapsource and after send it to my Montana MiniSd card.

But, what about the SQL file ?

What I do with? Did I must place it imside my miniSd card?

hello there is a problem in france topo entire country ,it is not possible to download the part 12

The 13 unlocked files downloads well from Netload ...

if your device supported sql file so you must copy it in SQL folder on device

I'll check in my Montana 650 specs if it is supported but,according to ''Fileinfo.com''

SQL files can be read by any SQL-compatible database program, including FileMaker, Microsoft Access, and MySQL. They can be edited using any text editor.

Probably I don't have to insert it in the gps...

Finally : Have you a "simple" solution to use the SQL data in Basecamp ?
I've read the whole thread first, but I don't find the answer ...

I will try to explain the step which raised me :

2.5. Under the "options" tab tell it the location of cgpsmapper.exe (free version here : http://www.cgpsmapper.com/download2/cgpsmapperFree.zip)
=> Download soft and after choose in Gmaptool.exe the location of cgpsmapper.exe

9. FID is 2554 and PID is 1
=> FID = MapID ; PID is already 1

14. Locate install.bat and run it.
=> Clik right and choose Install as administrator

And after go trekking !

=> Télécharger le programme, puis dans Gmaptool.exe sélectionner l'endroit ou se trouve cgpsmapper.exe

9. FID = 2554 et PID = 1

14. Localiser et installer install.bat
=> Cliquer droit et Installer le programme en tant qu'administrateur

Hi folks,

As explained in the previous post, the maps are now in my Montana 650. I downoaded the unlocked version and it's works fine...

When I connect the gps to my pc,I can see the map in Basecamp but when I unplug it, I can't see the maps in computer. I know if I install the Topo France in Mapsource I'll be able to work with the map when the Montana is'nt connected.

(Probably Mapsource will transfert the same map in Basecamp too).

Anybody knows how to proceed?

hi there,

my english is not so good, and i´m somewhat confused which tools i need.
i want to run a img at basecamp

i have download the files from 1th side/1th post (TOPO France Entire Country v3 Pro, MapID: 2554)
after unpacking, i have one TOPOFrance_v3_Pro.img
then i make a folder: garmin\Fam_2554 and put the *img. there.
with jetmouse 1.5 i generate a key and unlock region at basecamp. But basecamp indicates: the map is not installed
then i have unlocked the TOPOFrance_v3_Pro.img with gimgunlock.exe
the tool does anything but basecamp cant find the map
what to do? i want only install the map at bascamp to send later tiles at my gps
please help or send me links to understand what i have to do
