Central & South America TOPO (IMG)

Central & South America Topo from Guatemala to Chile/ Argentina (Mexico not included)

Four files, number one is the northernmost, while file four is the southernmost. This map has only contour lines (20m), no rivers, no cities nor roads. Not sure now about border lines.

I thought it's topo map, but it seems it's only countourlines. What is it good for? I suppose is it necessary to combine this file with another one with actual map of particular area to have countourlines overlayed over actual map I think, is it right?

i dont understand your problem. i never wrote that there are roads included. what is it good for? this is topographie and it helped me a lot in the southamerican mountains - mountains with absolutely no roads in sight. if i need a road map i take a road map.

Please I didnt't mean it as offense. I was just surprised that for its file sizes I could see only countourlines (not other features of topo maps as forests, water streams, paths, various objects..., not to mention roads) so I thought best use for this would be with conjuction with normal map without countourlines.

okay, seems like you are used to north american or european topos, but show me only one south america topo with paths, forests, rivers etc. i know only one (for chile) with streams and lakes and the lakes are mostly shown on vertical mountain summits.

Yes, I am used to european topos which are great and was expecting something similar with this south america map, I didn't try maps for single countries yet, that's sad then there are none.
