unlocked gmap folder
Before I begin, I would first like to say that I am a complete newbie in this downloading maps thing. So please excuse my ignorance if my questions are too simple.
First of all, I own a Garmin Nuvi 265WT. It has a 2 GB SD card slot which I have inserted into the side.
From P33dro, I tried downloading the unlocked Map Source, The unlocked Image and then using a card reader, I made a SD card: \Garmin folder.
Then I extracted all the downloaded files and put it into the Garmin folder on the SD Card.
I don't see a unl or gma file anywhere - and of course, when I switch my garmin satnav on, it doesn't see the SD card contents.
I am probably doing something absolutely wrong but I have no idea what.
I didn't download the other files such as the 3D , the JCV , GS2 or ASR files - must I do that too?
Not need to write thanks .... If you like my post and it helped you, press Thanks or Like
I do not understand why it is difficult to click on "Thanks" or "Like"
Which JVC file I need to download for the nuvi 40?
