Garmin TrekMap Italia v2

i eventually got it to work in basecamp....

i downloaded the file above, unlocked it with garmin alternative unlocker and transferred to a SD card which goes into my zumo unit, make sure the gps can use and recognise the maps!!

go to garmin.com download basecamp (replacing the exe file with the patched version on this site would not work for me as i always recieved a .dll error)

start up basecamp.

connect your gps unit to the computer, on basecamp click open and select the img file.
on the LH side of basecamp you will see the img file is recognised, there will be a small green bar underneath the name if the img file.

the system is now checking the data - go have a coffee as it takes time.

after about 20 minutes you can navigate with basecamp, you can search and tranfer and create routes without any issues.

Hi,

Thanks very much for the mapsource version of Trekmap Italia. In opposite to gmapsupp.img version installed with Gmaptool, the 3-D works on Basecamp, as well as the "find places" function in Mapsource.
After coppiing the gmap folder in C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Maps, I opened Mapsource 6.16.3 (the last version). Then I unlocked the map with keygen 1.3 or 1.5.
The unlocking seemed to have work, but unfortunatly the map details were still locked. In "Map product information", the map was described as "uncertified".
Fortunatly, I had got the Mapsource 6.16.3 patched version and the Basecamp 3.2.2 patched version given by ********* ([URL="http://www.**************/forums/showthread.php?1100-MapSource-v6.16.3-BaseCamp-3.1.2-amp-MapInstall-3.14.4-Patched"],
because I had the same problem with Topo Spain V4.
And it worked !

Guys, can anybody upload MapSource version on Rapidshare?? Netload is tooo slow, 1-20 kb/s.. Please!!
(also map Topo Swiss v3 and others from uploaded.to and netload.. Just too slow)

I am becoming mad with this map.

The problem is that I want to use this map with Basecamp for Mac too.
Yes, I use only a Mac, not PC.
I searched all around the world for a solution, but I don't know how to import this map to Basecamp for Mac or, eventually, where to find a suitable installable map for Basecamp for Map.
