Hi. I`ve got Venezia, Prague, Oslo, Helsinki, Krakow all 2010.10, Sao Paulo 2010.30. Also St. Petersburg 2011.10 wich I`ll be willing to trade to another expensive ~20$ map (just to make the trade fair). No comertial profit just exchanging maps one for one: you give me yours and I give you mine PM only.

Maybe buses will be in version 2.0 of the maps

problem is....they never tell you wich version you are actually buying. Their shop always lists the map as the same SKU but in fact it was a 2010.1 then 2010.3 and now 2011.1 version.

you don`t need to buy new device. Such functionality is already supported. It is the map that has all the data. Google for Berlin of Munich cityxplorer maps and you`ll find screen shot showing buses

so that way you have to buy a new map

and that is an unfortunate truth. CityXplorer maps aren`t upgradeable.

(and in that case taking a taxi is maybe a cheaper option

these cityxplorer maps has way more potential than [del]stupid[/del] (ok, lets call them blind) garmin`s managers think. While are the over folks like google and all brainwash you about how it is good to have a connected gps it is in fact plain !@#$ pardon me.... inconvenience. When is the time you need you GPS most? Right, when you are in some distant place you new nothing about. You may have your cell operator coverage there but I bet in most cases you haven`t. So why would I be willing to pay astronomic GPRS/3G roaming fees every time I want to navigate if I can buy a garmin map and stay off-line. With cityxplorer maps this situation is even more evident. Pay one time for a map, test it at home as be sure it works on one hand. And come to some distant country, search a local GSM shop for cheap SIM and GPRS/3G traffic, make tons of changes in my PDA/PNA settings to make all work on the other hand. Tough choice I must say.


And now we have CityXplorer Moscow and Helsinki is upgraded to 2011.10
