Can someone please reupload this ? The download link provided in the original post does not work anymore.
Thanks a lot.
link work fine for me .. try again
Yes I got the link to work. Thanks for your help. I have downloaded the rar file and extracted the image file using 7zip.
I have recently updated my Garmin nuvi 255w unit with the Middle East & Northern Africa NT 2012.30 update. I want to go ahead and add this CityXplorer Dubai update in addition to the previously mentioned update.
Could you please guide me as to how I should paste this Dubai update image file on my device and what should I name it ? I appreciate your help.
I am attaching the image file of my Garmin directory file and you can see the list of names I have for my files. The recently updated Middle east maps, I have named it as 'gmapssup'.
compatible devices ... 255 not support CX maps
My device is enlisted in the compatible devices on this page :- https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=276&pID=37581
So I think it should work. No ?
But if you already have the map MENA 2012.30, is not added anything to the map Dubai 2012.10
The EPN will not work
From page your link....ByAdding cityXplorer maps to a unit that does not support pedestrian navigation ONLY will allow for viewing of cityXplorer maps and points of interest and is not recommended if the city already is preloaded to your device. Only 1 region can be downloaded directly to devices that do not support pedestrian navigation. Additional regions can be downloaded to individual data cards.
Thanks for your advice. I understand now. Cheers
