I bought a nuvi 2555LMT in Nov 2011 and realised that I cannot search by zip code or postal code. Emaile Garmin support and they confirmed it![]()
I just got a 2555lmt nuvi and in total Garmin fashion way they decided to make the ecoroute features of previous models a purchasable application... I believe that it costs $10 or so as this unit is not compatible with the HD version.
Anyone know if this is something that is coded in the firmware but with just some sort of code to unlock or its actually an application that needs to be downloaded into the unit to work?
Anyone has any details about this?

Just for general info, I had a problem with my new Nuvi 2555 detecting the SD card. It was apparently a windows problem as after I formatted the card using SD Formatter, everything went great.
Thanks.
Unfortunately, mine is US set, unable to take advantage of Junction View. Any way to do something to the firmware?
Which model you have?
I'm using Garmin | nüvi® 2555LMT. (https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=101881)
I tried MSM, MFM, City Navigator etc. The Junction View doesn't work though my set support it. The Junction View only works in USA. Probably, it is the firmware issue which has restriction.
I'm Singaporean.
I bought my GPS in US as I need it for business trip over there.
I use GPS simulator, MSM is better and more updated as compared to City Navigator Southeast 7.6. MFM has a lot of information, but it just slow down my GPS.
It is normal to slow down GPS due to the large number of information
You must wait for MS firmware version for your Garmin
Why are you so important for JCV if you are from Singapore.
I visited Singapore 4 times and I know quite well the city.
If you live in Sigapuru you should everything know
Not need to write thanks .... just CLICK Thanks or Like or add reputation
Can you advise me what is MS firmware? MS means? Is it from Garmin?
Junction View just looks cool to me.
