    Problem with SUNA traffic alerts

    Hi All
Just wondering if anyone out there in GPS world is having trouble with SUNA traffic alerts. Yesterday I was driving around and noticed that I didnt have any traffic info on my Nuvi. This is the first time I have noticed this. Does it mean that there were no traffic problems at the time? I doubt it. Every other time there has been numerous alerts around Adelaide. I travelled about 25 Kms and no traffic alerts. Anyone else have this problem?
    Cheers

Traffic codes for Australia - confirmed working! You will need the JetMouse 1.5 modified keygen to accept 5 digit for MapID (Google is your friend)
    Unit ID = TrafficReceiverID
Name (Country) MapID / ProductID / RegionID / VendorID

    Suna (AUS-ACT) 16641 / 53 / 53 / 1
    Suna (AUS-NSW) 16897 / 54 / 54 / 1
    Suna (AUS-VIC) 17153 / 1 / 1 / 1
    Suna (AUS-QLD) 17409 / 56 / 56 / 1
    Suna (AUS-SOA) 17665 / 57 / 57 / 1
    Suna (AUS-WEA) 17921 / 58 / 58 / 1
    Suna (AUS-TAS) 18177 / 59 / 59 / 1
    Suna (AUS-NTY) 18433 / 60 / 60 / 1

i don`t know if these will help

    Hi dddarren
I have a 1490T Nuvi. Do you mean I have to unlock this feature to make it work now? I thought this model came with FREE SUNA traffic updates. If so how do I get the traffic Receiver ID. Its just a cable with a FM Receiver built in!!
    Cheers Greg

The system goes down in Perth sometimes also, then is back a day later.. I stressed that it was my unit at fault the first time it happened...

I know how you felt... now I just ignore it and it always comes back online...

Garmin 1490TV - DVB-T Will it work in Australia?

    Hi,

I am looking at the 1490TV for an upcoming trip around Europe..

Does anyone have experience with this unit?

    https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=134&pID=68763

    2 Questions....

    1. All the reviews state the TV function will automatically turn off when you start moving (to prevent the driver watching TV while driving)

However is there a way to keep the TV function working while moving, for the benefit of passengers in the back seat for example.

    2. Will the DVB-T work in Australia? I beleive the DVB-T format is standard in Australia but any advice appreciated..

    Cheers

Re: Garmin 1490TV - DVB-T Will it work in Australia?

system works only in MPEG-2, then the system used by Germany, Austria, .. but not in the recent decoding system and MPEG-4 AAC voice, then decoding system, which will be used by all of Europe after 2012-pity there are currently only useful in countries that use the old digital signal decoding MPEG-2

    nüvi 1490T

Not the language text files, but the input keyboards.
In particular, I'm trying to use Korean input.
I have Korean map and trying to use search.

Just purchased 1490T and I do have a Korean firmware 200W.
    I've seen Korean firmware 1450T.

    I'm guessing that it's a .bin file.
Or do I have to find and update to Korean firmware.

To anyone with experience, additional info would be appreciated.
