Check your Nuvi so that you dont have an older version of the same map.

Buy an SD card,
format it as FAT32,
create a folder on the card named GARMIN
and inside this folder just copy the gmapsupp.img (1.3 Gb) you 've downloaded

I notice when I open Mapsource, it tells me where the GPS Unit recently was at.

I would like to erase the tracks, active logs, and start over.

Does anyone know how to do this and where these files are kept?

Press "where to" .Go to recently found and erase what you do not wish to keep.

Thank you but that wasn't it. I actually found the setting by accident.

yes, I read the thread, but it is not the right map.
There is a map called City Navigator India NT and it cover allmost complete India.

hey,

i got my nuvi yesterday with pre installed UK, ROI and All Europe maps on it, i thought i was doing the right thing by updating the unit ect ect as instructed on the garmin site but now it appears that all maps for the uk and roi has dissapeared can anyone help me get these back if theres a way, as i am very new to sat navs!!!
