    Garmin Mobile for Android

What do you think, will Garmin ever release its sofware for garmin?

I know that they discontinued mobile XT/PC products, but this site says, they are looking for an Android developer so maybe something could happen.

    Re: Mobile XT for Android

It's mainly for the Nuviphone A50 which is based on Android.
They won't release anything generic for Android, otherwise they hurt their business with Asus

I have the system dump and the "storage" dump which is the allocated 4gb section of the internal memory including offline garmin maps. I would be happy to upload the system dump but all apk files are also odexed, the storage section is about 1.3gb of info, 1.2gb of that is a single file which is the offline maps in a .img file. Any suggestions on a place to upload the 1.3gb storage file?

    Request Garmin for Android

I am looking for Garmin for android devices. Full APK would be nice. I have done some research and found that Garmin has a couple of phones running the Android os. Garminfone is available as the Asus A10 as well as another model Garmin-Asus Nuvifone A50. Someone must have ripped one of these by now...

I have done some more research and have found Garminfone firmware updates for two phones as well as a rom dump. I am not in the possition to use these to my advantage. If anyone can help I am posting the links for the info.

Are there Garmin maps supported on Ipad, Android and etc

Are Garmin maps supported in Ipad, Android or on any other lightweight and not too expensive tablet device?
